LaunchPad Media, the creative agency headquartered in Watertown, won 2010 WebAwards from the Web Marketing Association - one for redesign of the Vlasic pickles website and another for a contest micro-site for Mrs. Butterworth's syrup. Both were in the category, "Consumer Goods: Standard of Excellence." Other winners in the category include Palmolive, Cottonelle and Glidden.
"We're proud to win our second WebAward for Vlasic.com," said Alex Poulos, president of LaunchPad. "And we're equally proud of our five-year relationship with both Vlasic and Mrs. Butterworth's -- brands with great personality and heritage."
LaunchPad designer/programmer Dan Cunningham and designer/animator Sarah Richardson were recognized by the WebAwards for both clients.
Now in its fourteenth year, the WebAwards is the premier annual website award competition. Each site is judged on seven criteria: design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copywriting, and ease of use.
